Tears from Heaven

Finally, a few tears from heaven.

Pachypodium geayi from Madagascar. It is one of the tallest in the genus.






The piebald majesty of the mysterious Allspice tree.

The culinary spice, Allspice (Pimenta dioica), comes from the dried berries of this tree. Its distinctive white bark makes it a real standout in the landscape. The leaves from the tree, when crushed, have the characteristic Allspice scent. Heavenly.
