Argentina's Morning Glory

Did any of you read "Angelina's Morning Glory?" Be honest.

Ipomoea platensis. This beautiful and rare Morning Glory comes from Argentina. The vine grows to 12 feet in length and springs from a huge caudex at its base.

This is a guava tree in bloom. If you look under the middle flower, you can see guava junior.
Guavas are a super fruit because they are packed with good stuff (my scientific explanation.)

Some of you were surprised that the Venus Flytrap flowered. It does. But I was surprised at how the small, year old plant, flowered. Compare the size of traps on the tiny plant in bloom and the more mature plant to the right. See, this blog is educational.
