  3. All your photos from this post are outstanding. Yellow flowers from the first photo look fantastic among the green grass. And what a wonderful light you captured on that photo. And the „flame of the forest “photo is also fantastic. That lovely tree in bloom and blue sky make the photo so colorful. The „orbit“photo is interesting composed and the next black and white shot with the flowers that look like little bells; both photos are really very attractive. And, what a wonderful view of an egg in the nest! I love that photo very much. “Your breath” photo also took my breath away; what colors! And, your Angel photo; it is like a cream on the top of the cake!:-) Thanks for another beautiful post that you sharing with us. Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Oh Prospero!
Your photos are magnificent. You are going somewhere, if you aren't there already. How can you not? I love the lone egg in the nest, and the flower in orbit. They are very conversational, as to what one would see that another would not. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful day. Country Hugs, Sherry

  14. Who are the people in the slide show? - it looks like a place where artists gather - or like place where friends gather - very interesting - people lost in the pile of things - you put the spot light on them!

  19. It is so long that I have seen such a 'crowded' flame of the forest. Very nice and nostalgic for me. I used to see this tree when I was a kid in my hometown. Nowadays this tree is getting rare... perhaps like what you mentioned before... gone due to redevelopment. Have a wonderful weekend and happy gardening!

  22. I hadn't heard the phrase, "Art is a response to chaos." That's good. Art is able in some ways, I think, to defuse the potential of chaos for evil...that's why generally dictators and their ilk so fear art.

I'm know I'd be deathly afraid of "Killer"!

Have you started your mystery novel yet?

  28. Ah yes. Where would we be without chaos? Nothing would ever change. It is all so beautiful, but the lone egg strikes a chord. I can only offer a small biscuit, but Killer could visit any time. No toil required.

  29. Oh my so many comments, you are becoming very famous Prospero. Thank you for the explanation to the words on the video. I was actually thinking along those lines but the way you had worded it had me baffled. (doesn't take much !) I loved the music and no I didn't find it too modern, I mean here's me who loves Amy Winehouse !! So you have grown peaches as well, I am so envious.

  30. Your photos are like wonderful works of art!

  31. I've been thinking about your quote, 'art is a response to chaos', which is something I hadn't thought about before. I reckon it can be, but can also be a celebration of order and design. I wonder if it depends on the artist, and also the mood the artist is in at the time? And the outside stimuli.

  32. Excellent, is Killer available for cat duty? My Rose has become too lazy to keep cats out of my garden.

  33. I have listened 3 more times to the music and it does sound like a real piano to me. Also I wouldn't have known it was atonal ! it just sounds different ! how was it created to sound like a piano then ? I'm curious now. oh no !! more mysteries on your blog.

  34. A beautiful series of images and. ..
the last is the most beautiful for me!
    :-)
    Thanks!

  35. Since some of you have commented about my quote, I'll take this opportunity to explain it more fully. I do not believe that chaos is a question of mood or external stimulus. I believe it is the fundamental state of things.

In order to examine this belief, it is instructive to look at another discipline, namely physics. The concept of entropy is paramount. Entropy can be defined, in simple terms, as the tendency towards greater chaos and is central to the second law of thermodynamics.

Let me give you a concrete example about the tendency to greater disorder.

You are watching a film of a girl on a swing, going to and fro, and a bouquet of flowers suddenly coalesces in her hands. You know immediately that something is amiss. You understand that the entropy of the system is wrong, and that you have been watching the film backwards.

  36. Your intensive photographic world is indeed a wonderful world of imagination. I love it to bits!
Little butterfly ears is very cute but is this also imagination, or are there hiding some darker thoughts?
