  8. I've never seen Gloriosa superba before. It looks like an inside out lily! Love the images of it and also the shadow of "darkness" and the colors and mystery of "the Amazon in your mind."

  14. I'm afraid I must buy dictionary of synonyms in English to avoid constant repetition of words amazing, stunning and beautiful:)
    And today I don't have a favourite one - I like all!
    Have a blissful weekend!

  15. So now I know the name of the flower I photographed on my last visit to Mounts Botanical Gardens...thank you! Your photos today as always are so moving, rich, beautiful, but it is the soulful eyes of Angelina that reaches into my heart...there is just something so special about looking into the eyes of a dog:)

  16. the first series of three pictures is so incredible - between the darkness of the cave (the caves of the soul and body, as well, our past, also our dark instincts) and the grace, the splendour embodied in a flower - isn't that our human destiny?

  17. I like the Amazon in your mind.

To me this sequence speaks beautifully of how we have become cut off from nature and need to make our peace with the environment and be regenerated.

Don't know if that's how you intended it to read!

  22. Hello Prospero, Angelina ;-) I really like to browse and see your photos. It's Sunday afternoon here... hot and humid.. but when I gaze at your photos, it is so relaxing. No need text or beautiful words... just photos speaking ;-) Wonderful! Have a beautiful Sunday! Gloriosa superba has a rather unique form. I like it.

  25. Your titles to your photos are really great. They take the art to another level and make me think and feel. I love it.

  26. The idea about cave walls is brilliant - it is in our ability to explore the world - the skill to search for figures - since the beginning of time - the color - the search - indefinite !

  27. Wall drawings - or carvings - by worms, I guess. They leave interesting forms in wood.

  28. I have stupid question - on the first photo - is this dill flower?
