  1. HI Prospero, these photo's are excellent, I swear you get better by each post. The lighting is always so good. Is that building a prison ? it looks like it might be. Thanks for the comment on my blog, I always look forward to your comments. It's like an old friend dropping by.

  2. Hi, lovely shape of the pomegranate; I planted a small tree this year, but no fruit yet. Your third image is the most puzzling to me. It looks like an abandoned place, yet there appears to be a light on inside. Neat!

  5. Como as fotografias mostram, cada enigma por uma planta floresce, com o "olhar" misterioso de Próspero.
    Excelente série.

  6. Your photos are so cool. I have to really work to figure some out. I am glad that Spunky did not catch that toad. I thought he was just getting a rabbit scent.

  9. Hello Prospero, how are you today? I like those venus traps but they are expensive here. The photo made the traps look alive. Angelina taking a rest? Have a great day!

  10. I really stopped to gaze at it - behind the broken glass, behind the peeling paint, behind the bars - there is a soft gold warm light - is it a ghost or is it a real presence! Fascinating! May be it is the creature with the skin like a Moon valley?

  28. i wonder how Lucian Blaga could write the following poem without knowing Prospero's garden :-)

I will not crush the world's corolla of wonders
    and I will not kill
    with reason
the mysteries I meet along my way
in flowers, eyes, lips, and graves.
    The light of others
    drowns the deep magic hidden
    in the profound darkness.
    I increase the world's enigma
    with my light
much as the moon with its white beams
    does not diminish but increases
the shimmering mysteries of night --
    I enrich the darkening horizon
with chills of the great secret.
All that is hard to know
    becomes a greater riddle
    under my very eyes
    because I love alike
    flowers, lips, eyes, and graves.

  29. You really seduce the viewer with your photographs. Prospero's variations. The images are so beautiful, that I dont need to know what they are about. They pull me in.

  30. I find all of nature and a great portion of mankind is quite enigmatic. This is what you offer to us ... sometimes it's easy to overlook.
