reality

We live - not in a "global village," to use Marshall McLuhan's phrase, but rather in a world that is ever more easily petrified by even the smallest event.

  4. Reality is indeed seen through the colors of our lives. Perhaps that is why people's perspectives are so very different.

  8. I wish I had words to describe these images.
You are letting the pictures speak for themselves, perhaps my admiration can be wordless too.

  9. Oh I would love to dive into one your photos to escape right now. Life is good, but I'm having a hard time with my sister going through chemo. I know that so many women have to go through this, but now it is my sister, and that makes it all real.

  10. Powerful images. I feel our perception of reality can change if we are open to new ways of seeing.

  11. Yes, reality can be bland, beautiful, start, scary, and dark - all at the same time.

  14. these are gorgeous, as always. so artistic and beautiful. I always enjoy visits to your site. I am currently posting photos from my photography tour to Vermillion Cliffs and slot canyons. The slot canyon photos start in just a couple of days and you would like those in particular, given your artistic eye.

  30. Your photos didn't petrify me - and that's good, how could I have commented them with petrified fingers? But they show small details indeed. Even the one with a large view!

  34. Excellent set! Reality is something that you will discover through personal experience. It is something unique and far more advanced than just saying something is true or real in an absolute sense. This said, your pictures are really wonderful and I love YOUR reality.

  35. Some of the smallest of nature's wonders are huge from your perspective.
Your images draw me in everytime.

  36. This series seems to go well with your "enigma" series.

All we have to do is look, maybe we will see a bit of the reality you give us a glimpse of. Then maybe we won't be so petrified.

  37. by now our modern world seems to have reached an agreement that we can't escape reifying when we use words. and a gaze? how can a gaze avoid to petrify? can it love so intensely? perhaps it is only a touch which is able to do that, the touch of a black and white hand open not to guide but to hold and to offer - a hand not needing the colours because it invents them with every caress.
