The impossibility of seeing

  1. I agree with Darla. Thanks for answering my question about the flower.

  2. Beautiful and trippy. "Seeing" cannot be seen because it has no shapes or colors. Things that we think we see only appear to exist because of their shapes, colors, textures or edges. Berkeley posited "to be is to be perceived." Things that we think we see don't even exist. We exist, but not as the separate entities we see.

  3. I love how you take what we take for granted to the point where it becomes invisible - and MAKE us see it. In a whole different light.

  4. "It depends only on the weakness of our organs and of our self-excitement, that we do not see ourselves in a Fairy-world."

(that is why we need magicians to teach us)

  5. I love the vibrant colors. It almost seems like the wall is bleeding.

  6. I looked at this image for quite a little while, until suddenly it came to me, given that this space seems to be inhabited by a friendly looking canine; it looks like this is a wall where someone marked his territory, and perhaps one had better smell, rather than try to see ?
    :-)
Forgive me, if that seemeth uncouth for a first comment here; couth was not always my strong point...

Your words are only true if I deem them to be so.
