Clivia miniata var. citrina

Years ago, the rare yellow-flowering Kafir Lily (Clivia) sold for a princely sum of $300 USD. Today, they can be bought for a couple of bubble gum wrappers.

  1. I've just started seeing pictures of the clivia and they really are pretty. I'm going to see if they will grow here.
I can't wait to have roses in bloom here!

  5. Such a cheery yellow clivia. The look is expensive! I like the white rose too. So elegant and pure looking. Nice to have these two flowers at home. One cheers and the other compliments :-)

  7. The yellow Clivia is very stunning and the fan palm flower interesting. Love the delicate, snow white roses.
You mention how expensive the yellow Clivia were. It is the same with the newest Daylilies. I always buy them from earlier years. They come down considerably in price.
