Prospero you have the cutest little friend ever. I suspect she has a real personality! your photo's are gems and I love the brown crinkled leaf. Have a lovely week-end.
Your pictures attest to the fact that if you believe you can invent new - to add to the beauty that we stumble upon each day! My 7 years old keep asking me every day if this or that is invented already - and yes - it all has been - but I tell him to never give up - and one day something good will come out of this constant trying!
Beautiful. I am intrigued by the bottom one ... is it a pinecone? Or perhaps lichen? Not usually mysterious, or even given a second glance ... but you show us it is so.
The shadows in those B&W pics are wonderful especially the last photo. It reveals sunlight. Sunlight is essential for our plants. Have another exciting weekend!
Beautiful quote. As for the photos they're all about beauty and mystery. Like the dry papaya leaf and the light/shadow in the other photos. Makes us reflect on ordinary things that we might otherwise simply overlook.
I love the color in the first image. It certainly leaves me wondering what it is, and waning to know more....a mystery indeed. Beautiful black and whites as well!
Those images are each one a poem, so beautiful, the air around them thick with secrets. Your photos radiate an ancient calm, they make me dream. Thank you.
The black & white ones are my favorites. Marvelous shots! Did you catch the Prospero-influenced zucchini flower photo I had last week or the one before that?
Thank you so much for telling me about your furry angel. Your shots are just great but when it comes to that sweet little dog, my heart melts. You are so very talented.
Captivating.
ReplyDeleteThe brown papaya leaf proudly says " Man, I have seen it all" before it succumbs to fate.

ReplyDeleteEye-catching negative spaces and contrasts!
ReplyDeleteLovely images, again. I like the b&w very much! I heard that leaf say "Leaf me alone!"
ReplyDeleteI keep getting distracted by the cute little furry dog but I do enjoy the pictures. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed these pictures today. The light coming through the leaves (hosta?) is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou always make me think, and I like that.
Thank you for teaching through your writing and photography alike.
ReplyDeletePlease have a nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteWow. I'm just taken aback--the quote and your intricate, exquisite photographs.
ReplyDeleteI need to look awhile and let it slip into my mind. Like a trickle of cold water sliding down my warm face on a very hot day--reviving as it goes.
