ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, great captions yet again. I am laughing still over the snail. So true! I hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you come up with these things....I just love it! Everyday!
ReplyDeleteAt Last I am almost the first to comment but not quite !! Fabulous, beautiful images, you excel yourself. Guilt is amazing, and I want that little urchin !
ReplyDeleteThey all great shots,
ReplyDeletethe African Tulip Tree is VERY special
(the color)
Its always a pleasure
to look at your pictures!!
:)
Your posts are full of surprises. Today I am marveling at Angelina, the epic flowers, duplicity, curtain and modern life.
ReplyDeletephotos of random beauty...hard to choose a favorite as they are all so different, titles add so much!
ReplyDeleteOnce again these wonderful photos - and words perfectly fit! "Modern life" is my favourite, you are so true! That shot speaks to me on many levels!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty with lots of texture. I have to laugh at the caption for Angelina - when my grandpa got very old, he always used to say, "What's next?"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, surprising as usual.
ReplyDelete"Modern life" is so true. Its one of these astonishing photos, which are so technically imperfect and - thanks to their imperfection - are talking so much.
I like also the light on "juge pénitent"
Good morning,
ReplyDeleteeven though it's now close to half past three in the morning, your site provides once again much food for thought, keeping me awake throughout the night - such impressive photography accompanied by wisdom. Thank you for sharing.
Your flowers are the main event in my blogging experience! They induce thoughts that are followed by guilt :) Gorgeous colors. They are all magic, but the silhuette of the laughter will hunt my evening! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love the titles you give your photos. You inspire and intrigue me.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I like strange laughter best.
ReplyDeleteI've still been contemplating your Power post - lots of issues to ponder. I found the TV series 'Heroes' to have some interesting insights into power - even the one of invisibility!
The 'mascara prison' gave rise to an observation that about 95% of the people I know (a lot of people) tend to either wear lots of make-up all of the time, or no make up all of the time. I think it's fun to wear as much eyeliner and mascara as the aforementioned Amy Winehouse some of the time, or no makeup at all, or be bright orange some of the time - freedom!!
I agree with you, it is an event. Maybe that's why I get so excited when a new one opens.
ReplyDeleteI love modern life, so true!
You put such thought into your blogging! Puts me to shame! Lovely photos as usual!
ReplyDeleteI like these events. Dogs that ask questions are something else, though. We've got a Golden Retriever who thinks she ought to always be the center of attention - not a flower!
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
I have not seen Stapelia gigantea before. Beautiful flower. Blooms often? That picture, modern life... was the speed of your camera fast?... passing sand blown by wind?
ReplyDeleteBtw, do you have a good online contact for seeds? I am trying to find dwarf plumeria to grow. I couldn't get this variety here and even if I do, it will surely cost a lot. And I must well get some nice desert rose seeds also. I think both will do well in my little 'hot' garden (though I haven't tried growing a plumeria ;-)).
Flower is an event indeed! Photos are superb as usually and 'The modern life' is a great metaphor:)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day
greetings:)
Your modern life makes me smile.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos:)
ReplyDeleteFlowers are like friends to me...I LOVE them ALL:)
ReplyDeleteHello there Angelina...you're looking especially pretty today!
The snail for me please - I seem to recognize the symptoms...
ReplyDeleteTQVM for the useful information ;-) It really helps.
ReplyDeletedifferent computer, hoping comments will work for me this time. third time's the charm :)
ReplyDeletei was saying before that sometimes i try to imagine (feel?) your captions before i read them, and when i saw the last photo i thought, 'new roads' - my heart skipped a bit. thank you.
curtain looks like the curtain of death - curtain of life? - maybe death since it can only be seen from that side.
What an awesome collection of images! Excellent!
ReplyDeleteWow! There's a lot to see this time. I like curtain and the purple gaping maw of the Stapelia gigantea the best.
ReplyDeleteBuenos Aires Photo
All are stunning!
ReplyDeleteI slowly begin to walk and get lost among the corners of your garden ... beautiful feeling.
ReplyDelete"Nepenthes madagascariensis" the most beautiful thing in life
Such wonderful photos with captions to match... I love the first flower photo. What a beautiful flower, such an event! Angelina is looking quite lovely today, and I like that she's asking you "what's next"! :)
ReplyDeleteyour photos are little meditations, every time i look i 'see' more
ReplyDeletelike guilt, with its internal fire ready to consume everything
or duplicity with its ominous shadow hearts

ReplyDeleteLove the way you have composed and framed the photos! You made most of them look so mysterious. Nice work indeed!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Propsero, I loved the Sfrican Tulip Tree, but then I loved the comparison of the snail to life in general. That was the best. Ofcourse your little puzzled friend is always a joy to see. Such a joy. Thanks for sharing this fine morning. Have a blessed day today and tomorrow is Pink Saturday for me. Stop by and say hi as always I love to see you come for a visit. Country Hugs, Sherry
ReplyDeleteOutstanding photographs.Really enjoyed this collection.
ReplyDeleteRam
the more i get to see of your work, the more i am fascinated. the concept is so interesting - the connections you make between colours and shape and the flow of an entire post are so alluring and at the same time challenging.
ReplyDeleteright now, i am blown away by this simple line:
To me, a flower isn't a flower, it's an event.
a thousand bows.
Loved modern life, guilt, and curtain!
ReplyDeleteHow perfect! It's indeed an event!!
