Another great variety of photos but of course Angelina is my favorite. She looks so soft!
ReplyDeleteThe lines and shadows in Parallel Universe are mesmerizing. Galaxies and Grapes of Wrath are fun and I love the colors in Island Home.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Prospero, Wonderful to see your artistic energy early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteYou are a master at naming pictures as well as naming them. I go for the first two ones, but maybe I'll change to the fence...
ReplyDeletePS Thank you for the comment - they were of course taken from the top of a small mountain.
Wow, I love your pictures, and such creative titles! I really like passion and island home. The colors are great...the purples are so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteI love the fence
ReplyDeleteSoooooo many lovely shots,
ReplyDeleteFantastic :)
The purple sky is so special ^__^
I love them all, but skyscraper and passion really speak. Perhaps there is passion in skyscrapers?
ReplyDeleteangelina: always adored
I love the Island House - beautiful photos. Love Angelina - Buddy says Arf-Arf.
ReplyDeletesometimes find similarity in some of your pictures with mine, I do not know why, but even in that I have not published, or angles that focus on things and catch your eye.
ReplyDeleteare beautiful and gorgeous texture, as well, i want to reach into the monitor and touch it.
Thank you for these moments of beauty.
kisses
This set is absolutely wonderful! I think 'Death and the flower' and 'Skyscraper' are my absolute favourites this time.
ReplyDeletejust lovely :-)
ReplyDeleteA truly fun series, and I appreciate the captions, too...
ReplyDeleteI truly love every one, I can't even pick a favourite they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt took me some time to see the watermelon - looks ready for a knife! What are those steps in the parallel Universe - they are so mesmerizing - they were in the Helios shot - or are these different - I cannot connect them to anything I've seen before - the steps puzzle me a lot. The fence is perfect - just enough fence to become a symbol of a fence! The island with the purple sunset is very mystically attractive!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such rooftops - they remind me of an ancient pyramid - and my mind can't be stopped from that point on - it goes on and on into fantasy world. It is amazing what a person can find serendipitously - all we have to do is go out, move around and see what is going to find us!
ReplyDeleteOh Prospero, Outstanding Post. I love the grapes of wrath, but honey you had me at "don't fence me in". Loved it, just loved it. Have a wonderful day. Country Hugs, Sherry
ReplyDeleteMadness and Don't Fence Me In speak to my heart. Thanks for sharing yourself here.
ReplyDeleteI love madness and for you. I think I'd love to live in the island home!
ReplyDeletePassion and Madness - what a great combo!! Parallel Universe makes me feel I'm in Egypt looking at pyramids. :)
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, and I love your interpretation of each photo. My favs in this series are "madness" and "island home". And of course, I always love your photos of Angelina. She is so squeezably adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snaps with lovely description.
ReplyDeletebig ears, big eyes - just cute!
ReplyDeleteNow I know what 'Helios' was ;-) I like the 'bright life' flower... the little blooms are very pretty. The 'for you' flower look so sweet. Have another wonderful day with Angelina!
ReplyDeleteThese are some really superb pictures. I love the way you've titled them. The titles are just so perfect! Loved the pictures especially "island home' & madness... such vibrant colors...
ReplyDeleteLife is strange, I was just mentioning the Grapes of Wrath to someone a couple of minutes ago!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhh......sooooooo.....awesssssome!!!!
ReplyDeleteand the big ears....the better to hear you with my dear!
Love all your images & thoughts, but I am still partial to sweet Angelina:)
As always, your series is superb and evocative. Especially 'Death and the Flower'. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.
ReplyDeleteHow do you come up with the titles? Is it what you really see after you take the photo or before?
ReplyDeleteDarla, the titles almost always come after the fact. I take the photo for visual interest. The camera seems to have a will of its own. However, I suspect that it's the subconscious mind at work.
ReplyDeleteI love all of it. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteRegina
Your photos are always so delightful and I love how you play with the words :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, have a wonderful week...
Great combos of the brilliant photos and titles. Loved the colors of Island Home.
ReplyDeleteI am always entertained and find myself smiling every time I look at your blog. How do you come up with all these wonderful pictures and captions? You must be very clever. I really love the galaxies and madness the best. They're the most unique. Thanks for your visit to my blog :)
ReplyDeleteStopped by to see the doggy with big ears :).
ReplyDeleteAs usually I'm impressed with variety and quality of your photos! I love them all, but 'don't fence me in'is my favourite! Graet:)
ReplyDeleteI thought your titles came after the fact. You do a great job with them. Blue Bedder Salvia is new to me this year. I also started mine from seed. The ones that are tall and blooming were started indoors over the winter. The ones directly sown in the ground are not as tall as just starting to bloom. I have also dead headed the taller ones as well. They are supposed to come back, I guess we will see together!
ReplyDeleteIt is an adventure to visit you! So many different shots, and with great titles. Love your galaxies, parallel universe and fence, but I get an AHA-feeling looking at all of them!
ReplyDeleteAnswering your question:
My lightning shots are not so difficult really! When it is a thunderstorm in Oslo during night, the lightning very often last more than enough time for me to shoot. Thunderstorms in Oslo can be very heavy. But I am not lucky everytime - I delete a lot of shots! :)
I have only admiration~~~for your images, for your words!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite of these is galaxies.
ReplyDeleteYour comment about chaos, entropy and the second law of thermodynamics has led me to some wonderfully interesting conversations with some of my scientist friends this week! (And fellow artists too).
I feel still that chaos and order are paradoxically together and that there is a kind of balance of movement and stillness between them as things flow from one to the other.
There's something for you on my blog today.
ReplyDelete"parallel universe" is such a great photo! i`m found of this kind of minimalism. superb.
ReplyDeleteYou are a creative genius. You weave a magic spell with your camera. The photographs are amazing & awe inspiring and the titles are marvelously matching with the subjects.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you.
Ram
Every picture tells a story! I love them all!
ReplyDeletei came back to see if i told you how much i loved 'galaxies' - i see i didn't. it brought to mind Blake's world in a grain of sand - universe in a flower.
ReplyDeletei can't tell which ones i love most - perhaps those surreal and delicate galaxies?
ReplyDeletei would love so much to see the images in a bigger size - isn't this possible? at least when one clicks on them? pleeeease :-)
Hi Prospero!!
ReplyDeleteyou really have a good blog and stunning pictures going on here! :D
I like your pic "GALAXIES". Go check out my post "FOR YOU" on my blog..its a similar photo..i think its the same plant! Tell me what you think of it..
Have a great day! chat again!!

I so enjoy your photos and titles as well. Your perspective on life is wonderful~
ReplyDelete"galaxies" is very beautiful, your pictures remind me that the beauty of things lies in their simplicity, and there is beauty all around us
