  2. Beautiful pictures. Is the Delosperma also known as "ice plant?" Does it only bloom when the sun is shining on it? Very pretty and perky!

  3. Mildred, I grew this Delosperma from seed. It was supposed to be Delosperma napiform, but I don't think so. It likes the sun to bloom and only flowers when it's cool. In the summer, it's just a green ground cover. It is known as Ice Plant, but so too with the Lampranthus and Carpobrotus genera. Glad you liked it.

  4. You got me there Prospero, I couldn't for the life of me see a bicycle at first. Seen it now though ! I hope you got that Lemongrass sown ? it takes forever to grow, but it's so expensive in the shop, so maybe it will be worth it. I hope you had a good gardening weekend.
