Song of the Kiskadee

The urchin is a little under the weather today and will not be attending school (urchin school). Perhaps the Easter holiday was a little over-celebrated or, perhaps, storm clouds in the area have disrupted the urchin's delicate sense of well being. I will watch over you, as always.

If you listen to the song of the Kiskadee and husband its cacophonous melody, soon the clouds will lift. Here are some flowers to cheer you up, my sweet, for the garden is atingle with delight and august medicine.

Phyllobolus resurgens.

Erythrina crista-galli.

Carpobrotus delisiosa.

Rhinephyllum pillansii.

Heliconia sp.

Your words are only true if I deem them to be so.
